剧中经典神评；那个时候的甄子丹还只能混个男二号的角色，不过倒是与日后奠定功夫巨星地位的咏春已经结缘，作为袁家班出品的电影，动作戏自然是有保证的，但是剧情未免有点太过敷衍，全片下来竟然没有一个真正意义上的反派角色可言，连山贼首领都算得上有情有义，这种剧情矛盾的缺乏直接让整个电影的观影效果大打折扣
按励志片来看，三星半了
开了开头就知道结局的片子。没有情节没有大画面没有出乎意料的惊喜，2个星星给爱情，给仍然相信爱也许就在转角的自己的心。
