構圖重心在下半邊。敘事元素像是『北野武原型』。沙灘上孩童式打鬧；執著某事的少年與陪伴他的少女；無預警暴力與髒拳；對於死亡的強烈直覺；了結應盡未盡之事的男人。結尾以夢幻感強烈的迴圈敘述處理，但若要僅用幻想去解套又似乎過於簡易。流氓在車上直覺式閃過預感的剪輯很漂亮，與開場結尾若是對照。石田百合子很美。
