靠梗的喜剧，几乎情节进行到每一段都会想出一些梗来。创造力算是比较强，有些也很搞笑。表演方面特色不大，配角虽然还不错，但是普遍有点俗气。整体节奏也稍微有点乱。又讽刺了大陆，当然也顺道讽刺了一下香港。拍大陆是当时一个潮流，也是一种猎奇。许冠文这个角色在港片里的大陆角色中算是稍微不同。
